Haven't gone anywhere of late but I'm planning my late spring/early summer around a complex meniscus tear in my left knee.  Lots of cartilage there but both sides are torn.  Soooooo

From end of April to June 21 I've got one ride or another planned most weekends including the Smackdab run June 21.  Then planning the last week of June to have the surgery and spend the next several weeks with my leg elevated, iced and Personal Terrorists beating me up after that.

YEEHAW!

🤣 🤣 🤣

The humor in this group is better than a Johnny Carson monolog.

I've learned to be very careful of reading anyone's post with a mouth full of coffee. 😎

Because of other scheduling conflict and the number of days travel required, We do not plan to attend the USCA Rally in Topsham, ME. Excitement I apologize in advance for the heartache caused by our decision.

El Jefe has been informed and alternate arrangements are being considered for my role at the Board and Annual Meetings.

Awe bummer dude!  Your smiling face, and abundance of positive mojo will be missed.

But, glad you are taking care of your knee. 👍

@scott-h It's been an interesting couple of weeks.  I think the initial injury happened a couple of years ago, but became quite aggravated at the end of January.  You have to know it's bad when I say we're going to ER on a Sunday morning on the way home from a MC event. Bruise

Looks like some great Arizona rides! I'm looking forward to getting out and seeing some of the countryside. I transplanted from the Oregon coast, so I'm still getting used to the summer heat!

Check back with us in August and let us know if you are "Getting used to the summer heat". I lived in the desert for twenty years. Believe me, you never get used to it being 115 degrees Fahrenheit.....at ten in the morning.

After the senior lunch at the community center, I took a buddy for a ride.  This is something that has been on his bucket list since the first time he saw a sidecar, back in the '70s.  Now at the young age of 89, he can check this off his list.  😎

Had a good time.

Kudos to you, Scott. You did a very good thing, and checked another item off an olde man's bucket list.

Home.  The upholsterer got the convertible top largely completed on Friday.  He has “another day’s” work of finesse on it but I don’t know when that will be possible.  Front edges of the snap need to be trimmed and the right side window needs to be moved forward about ½ inch to make it secure onto the Velcro.  I rode it home after the bike show today.

Man,  That looks awesome. 🤩 I really like the cloth material over vinyl.  Very classy.  😎
