As usual MIlee when it comes to processing information and making forward headway you[re the boss and every bit as clever as you think you are. DB

I was informed last night that my Euro-Wing sidecar rig has been delivered to the Haulbikes/Daily Direct warehouse in Silver Springs Shores, Florida....the Ocala, Florida area. It is scheduled for me to pick it up at 1:30 pm on Monday, February 17th....that is 4 days from now.
I have contacted Bob Weis, a fellow sidecarist in northern Florida, and a kind gentleman that I have met before, as he assisted me in procuring the Hannigan Classic sidecar that I bought in Florida, then I flew down and hauled that sidecar back home to Washington State inside the back of a 10' U-Haul truck, and attached it to the 2015 Burgman 650, which I sold to CCJon (Jan Daub), and he sold it to a guy in Indiana, and he sold it to a guy in Nor Calif, and...and...and...
Bob Weis is THEE man to contact if you need any sidecar assistance in Northern Florida. He will be picking me up at the hotel in Orlando, and driving me to the Haulbikes warehouse in the Ocala, FL area, and after careful inspection...then I will follow Bob back to his place. The following morning I will drive my rig down to Orlando, and hand it off to the overseas shippers.
Then I fly...from Orlando to Frankfurt, Germany.
Yes.....pictures will be taken. (here is a selfie)

The wheels of time are moving. Glad you are on top of things. Time doesn't have a reverse gear. Kind of like my GS. 🤔
All this time I wondered who those blue emoji's were sketched from. 😉
Fly safe, it's a long way to Florida. Pretty cool to have a great buddy to help you out. Cheers to Bob! 🍻 🍻 🍻

Wat E sed.
We him Bluey.

I believe that I have everything set up, in order, and ready for this upcoming "endurance trip", that starts Sunday morning bright and early, and let's hope I haven't bit off more than I can chew
I say that, because as of today I have added 4 more flights to my agenda, which means that on this trip that will encompass a total of 8 days...Sunday to Sunday....of which I have flights on airplanes during 6 of those days....I now have a total of NINE (9) individual flights to be on in those 6 days of actual flying.
Whew....it is going to feel like an 8 day endurance rally.
Okay, I was very good at those things in the days past, or...the days of yore...but that was a long time ago, and I am now an olde man, so....
Gulp.....
Seattle to Chicago
Chicago to Orlando
Orlando to Frankfurt
Frankfurt to Amsterdam
Amsterdam to Inverness
Inverness back to Amsterdam
Amsterdam back to Frankfurt
Frankfurt to Munich
Munich to Seattle
Man, my arms are going to be tired

And here I was moaning about 1 stopover.
Don't forget your in seat exercises..
Is there some logic to all this flapping about?
Or are you just trying to wear us out thinking about it?
Might have to buy a metal globe and spin it to see if I can guess where FM is right now......

Bruce, there is a method to all this madness, as well as a madness to this method.
Have to fly from Seattle (home airport) to Chicago, to make a connecting flight to get to Orlando, FL, as I need to pick up my Euro-Wing sidecar rig on Monday, and deliver it to the overseas shipper on Tuesday. Once that has been dropped of with the overseas shipper, then I take a flight from Orlando, FL to Frankfurt, Germany, where I will be greeted by my "new-to-me" Subaru XV Hybrid that I bought last month.
After less than 2 days in Frankfurt, however whilst still staying (and paying) as a registered guest at the hotel in Frankfurt, I then fly from Frankfurt, Germany to Amsterdam, the Netherlands, to make a connecting flight to Inverness, Scotland, jump into my rental car, and drive 50 miles down to our flat in St. Benedicts Abbey, in Fort Augustus, Scotland, where I need to retrieve a few personal belongings that we have decided to not leave in the flat, and can not wait until we go back there in mid April.
Less than 24 hours at the flat in Scotland, I then drive the 50 miles back up to the airport in Inverness, return my rental car, take a return flight to Amsterdam, then take a connecting flight back to Frankfurt. Once I land in Frankfurt, and retrieve my own car at 11:00 pm on Saturday night, I drive the 15 miles to the hotel I am staying in, take a short "nap", take a long shower, pack all my "stuff", get back in my car, drive back to the same airport in Frankfurt, so that I can park my car at 5:00 am on Sunday morning, and leave it there for 40 days and 40 nights, in a rather expensive parking spot (business parking, extra wide spaces), then take a 8:00 am flight from Frankfurt to Munich, Germany, then take a connecting flight from Munich to Seattle.
And..NO...I was not trying to wear you out thinking about it? However I may have accomplished that.
Five (5) weeks back at home....then WE (wife and I) fly back to Frankfurt (Seattle to Frankfurt non-stop), to enjoy driving our Subaru XV Hybrid around the continent for a few weeks, whilst we await the arrival/delivery of our Euro-Wing sidecar rig, and once it is delivered, we will drive it around the continent for another few weeks, before heading back home.

Well Miles the adventure continues.
I'd say I'm glads it's you.
But I'm not.
I pray your gallivanting goes well.
And will be thinking about you.
Living up to the 1st initial.

I'm interested in the Flying Monkeys Frequent Flyer Bonus program (FMFFB). Hoping it is better than the Flying Tigers Frequent Flyer Bonus program. That program was a killer. 😉

Scott, I'm sitting at the airport in Seattle right now. This entire trip is all business.... not fun at all. Gotta take care of the business end of things, so that when my wife joins me in April, it will be fun.....and no business.

Thane (see...I am trying to include all of you in this menagerie)
I'm now in Orlando.....2 of the 9 flights are completed. I get picked up tomorrow by Bob Weis , and he takes me up to the warehouse in Ocala where my Euro-Wing rig is waiting for me.

Been watching the fun play out. Like a Fellini movie at times.

Appreciate all the updates - it's fun to follow along!
