Are you two headed back to Scotland for Christmas? I remembered you had written something about going back in a month, for/after closing.
Does your new Scottish digs have a fireplace to roast chestnuts over?
Side question, is there a local group that sings carols for Nessie?

Santa or grumpy elf?
Santa is an elf.
And by the look on his face, I'm betting he is pretty darned happy with how the front fender on his Rocket III sleigh is working now. 👍

Thank you FM for starting this thread.
With all the shooting and regional conflicts going on around the world, it's hard to think about peace. But think and pray we must.
I pray that none of our faithful USCA members nor any of their families are in harm's way anywhere. If they are, please, everyone, pray for their safe return.
I pray that you and your families are gathering together this season to enjoy the warm welcoming companionship.
I pray that you kindle an interest in your family history among the young ones. Tell them family stories, some funny, some sad but all true, that have been passed down in your family for generations. Teach them the cherished family values, traditions, and history.
If we don't share our family lore and traditions, who will? Young people need to know from where they came so they can better understand their way forward.
Recently I learned that a German ancestor in the 1800's was a stone mason. Construction and building has been woven through our family lore for centuries. Now I better understand why and where it came from.
And I pray that you, I, and our families understand the reason for this season of love and peace.
God Bless,
Jan Daub
