They tell me that last year there was only one sidecar available to carry the Muscular Dystrophy Association riders.

 This year we surprised them!

My grandchildren got to ride along because we had more sidecars than the MDA had passengers.

I told Sheriff Steven Rowe that even though he didn't have a sidecar, our members would like the paint job.  There were about 20 police bikes from around the state leading the pack.

Here's our own Jim Rackow, the owner of the Triumph Bonneville above, trying to recruit younger members for USCA.  This was Jim's 14th consecutive year with the MDA Rally.  Last year, his was the only sidecar.

My daughter, the designated photographer, was particularly moved by an empty wheelchair on the side of the road.  It's normal passenger was riding in a sidecar today.

Some of the beautiful scenery we passed.  We were told that when we arrived at Spring Green for our rest stop,

 90 minutes into the ride, the last riders were just leaving the starting point.
